Official Statement on Hacks involving Cheat Engines
With the recent rise of hacks involving the use of cheat engines, we would like to inform you about our action plans to resolve the issue and send a warning message to all users who are already using or are attempting to use illegal hacks.
Through your reports and our internal investigation, we have found out that some game hacks (AOE, Wall Hack, Damage Hack and Item Hack) were made possible through the use of cheat engines or old versions of third-party programs. We have immediately informed both ESTsoft and INCA (GameGuard developer) about the hacks and have asked for their assistance in resolving the issue and are working closely with them to disable cheat engines from bypassing our game’s security measures.
We are deeply concerned as much as you are, and are aware that the use of these hacks has adverse effects on CABAL Online’s game play and economy, and are committed to take further steps in controlling the issue by punishing proven hack users through the following action points:
1. Clearing of Illegal Dungeon Records and Banning Users
2. Intensive in-game monitoring and GM Patrols especially during Nation Wars
3. Opening of Quarantine Report Thread for Damage Hackers
4. Banning of Users with Illegal Damage Hack logs (together with EST)
We cannot resolve the issue overnight, but we are working intensively to resolve it as soon as we can and with your cooperation, make CABAL Online a more enjoyable gaming environment.
Our warning to hack users still stands: the use of Wall Hack, AOE and Damage Hack are serious offenses to our game policy punishable by permanent ban. Do not risk your account, your long-time investment, for a short, temporary taste of advantage.
Thank you for reading and for staying with us through thick and thin.
Your CABAL Online PH Team
